The Open Stage
The Open Stage theatre is a teaching space and a flexible performance venue for Theatre Studies, Creative Arts, the Faculty of Arts and the University of Melbourne. The theatre is run and administered by a Theatre Manager and receives no direct operating grant nor subsidy. Programs and classes run by Theatre Studies requiring the use of the Theatre have priority over all other groups and users. In certain periods during the year the Theatre is available for hire.
