Mark Nicholls, Senior Lecturer in Screen Studies program, writes the weekly column 'Buff's Choice', which appears in the EG section of The Age newspaper each Friday. Buff's Choice provides readers with Victoria's only guide to classic and subsequent release cinema. In the age of home entertainment, it plays a major role in promoting theatrical exhibition of classic cinema and a popular understanding of film history.
