Centre for Indigenous Education
The Centre for Indigenous Education is the main focus for the recruitment of and support services to Indigenous students. It assists students with course selection, tutorials, accommodation, study, personal support, community networking, cross-cultural development and career counselling. The Centre provides meeting rooms, study areas, computer equipment and a resource library. Located within the heart of the University of Melbourne, The Centre for Indigenous Education provides for a wide range of academic undergraduate and postgraduate support services.
Eltham Bookshop and Nillumbik Reconciliation Group
The Australian Indigenous Studies program collaborates with the Eltham Bookshop and Nillumbik Reconciliation Group every year in organising a unique and successful writers festival. Bringing together some of Australia's finest Indigenous and non-Indigenous writers the festival seeks to generate discussions on Indigenous affairs - artistic, political, historical and personal.
