Olivia Khoo

Olivia Khoo

Olivia Khoo completed her PhD in Cultural Studies in 2003. Her thesis, on exoticism and diasporic Chinese femininity, was supervised by Dr Audrey Yue. It will be published by Hong Kong University Press as "The Chinese Exotic: Modern Diasporic Femininity" in 2007. Olivia is currently teaching film and media at the University of New South Wales and is an executive member of the Asian Australian Studies Research Network.


David McGinniss

David McGinniss

David McGinniss is working at the British Red Cross as a Community Development Officer for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. Since finishing Honours in Cultural Studies in 2001, he's worked at the City of Port Phillip's Social and Cultural Planning and Policy department, and in the Homelessness Policy and Programmes section of the Commonwealth Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.


Rachael Kendrick

Rachael Kendrick

Rachael Kendrick completed Honours in Cultural Studies in 2006, and is currently undertaking a PhD in the program. She works in operations at Media Monitors and also freelances as a writer and photographer.


Jocelyn Tan

Jocelyn Tan

Jocelyn embarked on her undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne in 2002 and completed her bachelor in 2004 majoring in Sociology and Cultural Studies. She spent 10 months back in Singapore working as a project executive in CMP Business Media and later returned to the University of Melbourne to pursue her honours year in Cultural Studies. She is currently doing project management and research in digital marketing for 141 Sercon.
