Cultural Management facilities and research environments
Staff, researchers and postgraduates of the School of Culture and Communication have access to outstanding research facilities including:

- Cinema Resource Centre
- Facilities and resources for research students
Elisabeth Murdoch Resource Library
The Elisabeth Murdoch Resource Library is for the use of staff and students. It includes a collection of over 200,000 slides, 16mm films, a video and DVD collection, photographs and microfilms, as well as reference books, general texts, and key journals. Screen Studies and Art History Honours, Masters and PhD theses are also housed in the Elisabeth Murdoch Library. Books, films and the thesis collection are for research purposes only and borrowing is not permitted.
Slides may be borrowed only for the purposes of giving a paper or lecture. Before removing slides you must contact the librarian. Slides may be selected in advance and set aside in an appropriate place within the library. The slide collection is currently being digitised, and a programme of developing multimedia teaching materials is underway.
The library also operates a reserve system where further reading material provided by lecturing staff is set aside and made accessible to students. Current and past reading packs are also available to students and staff.
The library's facilities include: a pin-number operated photocopier for use by staff, Masters and PhD students only: a microfilm reader-printer; slide study facilities (light boxes and projectors); videos; DVDs and multimedia; study stations; and Macintosh computers.

The Cinema Resource Centre
The Cinema Resource Centre contains video equipment, playstations, and multimedia equipment for postgraduate research.
