Cultural Management PhD thesis - oral presentation of your research
At the University of Melbourne, all PhD students are encouraged to make an oral presentation of their research in an open forum during each year of their candidature. You may present at a conference, seminar or at the School’s twice yearly Work in Progress Day.
Two presentations are mandatory:
- students approaching confirmation of their PhD candidature are required by the University to present their work in an open school forum;
- the University also requires PhD candidates to present in the 12 months prior to the submission of their thesis (for those enrolled prior to 2006) or at a Completion Seminar in the 3-6 months prior to submitting (for those enrolled 2006 onwards).
