Current MA Curatorship student, Loretta Shepherd, undertook her internship in first semester 2007 with the University of Melbourne's Cultural Collections. This resulted in her assisting as a co-curator of the exhibition: Missionaries of Civilization: The Commercial Travellers' Association of Victoria, a Cultural Collections Exhibition. The exhibition will be held from 3 July to 5 October 2007. A detailed illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition.

As well as tracing the visual development of how the Australian Aboriginal community has chosen to portray important issues in the form of national NAIDOC posters, the exhibition includes documentary material from past NAIDOC celebrations in Melbourne as well as quotes from members of the Koorie community commenting on what NAIDOC means to them.
