Peggy Guggenheim Internship: Responsibilities of recipients

Submission of documents

The successful student who is awarded an internship must provide the School with the following documents:

Funding arrangements

Internship fees will be paid directly to the Foundation and $2300 funding for the airfare will be deposited into the successful student's bank account as a bursary. The successful student must undertake the internship at the Foundation, as specified and agreed with the Committee, during June-July 2010. If the internship is not completed during June-July 2010, the student must repay the internship funding in full. The internship cannot be deferred beyond this period of time.

School seminar

Within three months after returning from the trip, the student must deliver a school seminar in the School on the topic of their internship experience. Details of the seminar should be discussed with the postgraduate supervisor and the School seminar convenor who will assist with making arrangements.

Internship report

Within three months after returning from the trip, the student must send to the Committee Secretary, University Secretary's Department, an internship report including details of:
